Class of '68 Quarterly E-Newsletter
April 2004 Article
April is here - Daylight Savings Time is scheduled to begin this weekend,
and Spring Has Sprung in my part of the country! Makes me feel young
again - at least mentally!
If you've perused our site at all, you've noticed Mick Orton has posted
pictures taken at our Reunion last August. Many of the pictures taken
that night (with the cameras on the tables) did NOT turn out because
the room was dark and the camera's flash was not turned on.
Did you take pictures with YOUR CAMERA at our reunion in August?
Would you be willing to share them?
If you can send them digitally, please email them to Mick. If you can
send him the actual snapshot, he can work his magic then return the
picture to you. Please identify the people in the picture, to be on
the safe side!! We'd like to post pictures and pictures and pictures
- until we run out of space!
- Elizabeth Goodman Hallowell is busy helping "researchers"
from other classes who are looking for connections to their classmates.
I've written a couple classmates asking them to forward information
about a brother or sister to the researcher of the sibling's class.
- Mick and I have been hearing from people, not only from other West
High classes but also from people across the country, about our website.
- We've heard from several classmates we were previously unable to
locate, and they've shared their information in the bio section.
- We've learned and shared the news of the deaths of several of our
classmates.
- We've learned of connections being made, and friendships being re-formed.
- Many classmates have signed up on www.classmates.com Have you checked
out this valuable resource?
Thanks to those who have kept me informed of changes, etc. You are
an invaluable resource to our Class! Keep the cards and letters coming,
folks!
